In IME and other EHPADs, creating visual schedules, detailed sequences (procedures), and keeping life books up to date can quickly become time-consuming and complex. Pictalk Buddy simplifies this daily management by allowing professionals to easily create, share, and manage all these visual supports from a single intuitive application.

Multiple profiles on one device

Like Netflix, Pictalk Buddy supports multiple profiles on the same device. This offers several tangible benefits: cost savings on equipment, ease of daily use, quick access to information for professionals, and personalized monitoring of supported individuals.

How to create a group?

To create a profile, you first need to create a group. To do this, open settings and click on "View all groups". Don't have a group? That's okay! We'll create one together. Click "Add". Name your group and click "Create group".

You have created your group! Congratulations! Now let's add our first profile to this group.

Add a profile or collaborator

A group consists of profiles (residents or students) and collaborators (professionals). Collaborators can create, modify, and delete events, sequences, and life books, while profiles can only view without making major modifications.

To add members :

• Invite an existing user (with a Pictalk Buddy account): to include a professional or an external collaborator.
• Create a profile: recommended for creating individual profiles without needing a user account.
• Invite via QR code: ideal for quickly integrating occasional or external professionals.

For this example, we will create a profile. The only required information is the first name, but you can also add a photo and last name. This profile is only accessible to the group’s collaborators. It's not an issue if the profile is always accessed from the shared tablet or another group collaborator.

If you want to give access to this profile to someone outside the group, you can create a Pictalk account for this profile. They will have an email address and password so that, for example, their parents can add weekend events and other information.

Once the "Pablo" profile is created, it is visible in the group.

Sharing Calendars, Sequences, and Life Books

With Pictalk Buddy, you can easily share content while ensuring confidentiality. When creating a sequence or an event, clearly choose the content owner :

• A specific profile (such as a resident or student)
• The entire group (accessible by all collaborators)
• Your personal profile (private access)

Each profile automatically has a personal calendar, while each group has a shared calendar to simplify daily coordination.

Let's try creating a sequence. At the top left, I can choose the future owner of the sequence. If I click on my photo and my name "Alex", a popup opens. I can choose to create the sequence for the "Pablo" profile, for the group, or keep it for myself.

Using the profile

The newly created profile can be used directly on the common main device. Simply click on the profile photo to easily switch between profiles and allow quick access to necessary information.
