Do the families of our users have to pay as well?
No. Families and individuals can access Pictalk Buddy freely, according to what they can give. The establishment membership only covers the collaborative and professional features. This is one of our core commitments: that the tool is the same at the establishment and at home, without creating a financial barrier for families.
Does Pictalk Buddy replace augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools?
Yes. Pictalk Buddy is a digital companion that includes a robust AAC module in addition to focusing on time structuring: visual schedule, task sequencer, life book.
Are our data hosted in Europe?
Yes. All data is hosted on servers located in Europe, in compliance with GDPR. We do not sell any data nor display any advertising. Your users’ data is never shared with third parties without your consent.
How long does the onboarding session last?
Between 45 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes depending on the size of your team. It is held online, in French, at a time that suits you. We conduct it ourselves — not an external provider.
What happens if we do not renew our membership?
Your data and your users' data remain accessible. You simply revert to standard access, without the collaborative features. Nothing is lost, no data is deleted.
Can Pictalk Buddy be used without an internet connection?
Yes. Once schedules and sequences are loaded, the app works fully offline. This is especially useful in establishments where connectivity can be limited or shared between multiple devices.
Can we try before committing?
Yes. You can try the Pro membership free for 30 days. Each professional can also discover Pictalk Buddy and get familiar with the app in its pay-what-you-want version; the membership then unlocks the collaborative features. We recommend starting with a discovery call to confirm together that the plan matches your needs.
Do you offer a special rate for small organizations or associations?

How to customize the app for each user?
Pictalk Buddy offers many customization options per profile: images, videos, sounds, colors, complexity level. With the establishment membership, each professional can configure the tool according to the specific needs of each person supported, and share these configurations with the rest of the team.
