In IME and other ESMS, creating visual schedules, detailed sequences (procedures), and keeping life notebooks updated can quickly become time-consuming and complex. Pictalk Buddy simplifies this daily management by allowing professionals to easily create, share, and manage all these visual supports from a single intuitive application.

Multiple profiles on one device

Like Netflix, Pictalk Buddy supports multiple profiles on the same device. This offers several concrete advantages: savings on equipment purchases, ease of use in daily life, quick access to information for professionals, and personalized tracking of supported individuals.

How to create a group?

To create a profile, you must first create a group. To do this, open the settings and click on "View all groups." Don't have a group? No problem! We'll create one together. Click on "Add." Give your group a name and click on "Create group."

You have created your group! Congratulations! We will now add our first profile to our group.

Add a profile or collaborator

A group consists of profiles (residents or students) and collaborators (professionals). Collaborators can create, modify, and delete events, sequences, and life notebooks, while profiles can view them without the ability to make major changes.

To add members:

• Invite an existing user (with a Pictalk Buddy account): to integrate a professional or service provider.
• Create a profile: recommended for creating individual profiles without needing a user account.
• Invite via QR code: ideal for quickly integrating occasional or external professionals.

For this example, we will create a profile. The only required information is the first name, but you can add a photo and a last name. This profile is accessible only to group collaborators. It is not a problem if the profile is still accessed from the shared tablet or another collaborator in the group.

If you want to give access to this profile to an outsider of the group, you can create a Pictalk account for this profile. It will have an email address and a password, so that their parents, for example, can add weekend events and other information.

Once the profile "Pablo" is created, it is visible in the group.

Share your Calendars, Sequences, and life notebooks

With Pictalk Buddy, you can easily share content while ensuring confidentiality. When you create a sequence or an event, clearly choose the owner of the content:

• A specific profile (such as a student or resident)
• The entire group (accessible by all collaborators)
• Your personal profile (private access)

Each profile automatically has a personal calendar, while each group has a shared calendar to simplify daily coordination.

Let's try to create a sequence. In the top left, I can choose the future owner of the sequence. If I click on my photo and my name "Alex", a popup opens. I can choose to create the sequence for the profile "Pablo", for the group or keep it for myself.

Use the profile

The newly created profile can be used directly on the main shared device. Just click on the profile photo to easily switch between profiles and allow quick access to the necessary information.

The Pro plan of Pictalk Buddy starts at 15.99 euros per month for six profiles. This plan is currently free until September 1, 2025, upon simple request to our team. The Pro plan allows for group creation and offers automatic content synchronization across multiple devices. It also includes access to artificial intelligence (AI) to help you quickly create sequences and facilitate writing the life notebook. All profiles linked to Pictalk accounts included in a group automatically benefit from a premium account as long as they remain group members.
